The use of ready-to-wear by the fashion designers is a very good marketing tool as it allows the designer to create the design without the worry of altering or re-discovering the piece of clothing. Although the particular item is branded, the exclusive brand name is what holds value for the company and the designer.

The third category of the article of clothing is accessory or lingerie. The designers who create this kind of clothing can create several types of lingerie, such as bikinis, g-strings, corsets, baby dolls, thongs and bras. The use of accessories allows the designers to incorporate more colours, fabrics and styles into the garments.
