Well there are many reasons one may need to own one of those dumpy houses in the country. They may have been left over from the last owner and no longer needed, they could be new construction on the way or they could just be ugly as heck. What you will find when researching these types of homes is that they are usually in the middle of some very run down neighborhoods. This is due to the fact that these homes are in desperate need of fixing up or being repaired before someone decides to move into them. It is usually pretty hard to get an offer in these types of homes because people are not usually interested in purchasing something that is not going to bring in any money right off the bat.
